Our Founder’s Story
Importance of Life Coaching
Yvetta Gayle-Thompson works hand-in-hand with her husband Michael Thompson in managing initiatives that expose the youth to the reality of life and prepare them for the responsibilities that come with adulthood.
Mrs. Gayle-Thompson, like all adults, has experienced the struggles of managing health, careers, finances, and relationships. She has had her fair share of troubles with managing money and during these times, she often asked herself why nobody explained to her how money works, why nobody taught her how to make money work for her, why nobody acquainted her with the value and the healthy side of currency, and why nobody ever talks about it.
Because of the lack of knowledge about finance and the reality of life in general, Mrs. Gayle-Thompson felt like she had missed a rare opportunity to become proactive, productive, and profitable earlier in life. Thankfully, Mr. Thompson was there to help her deal with past and present struggles. Now that she is more comfortable discussing these issues, she is driven to help others become more open about the struggles of adulthood so they can find ways to deal with the problems at hand and impart relevant knowledge to the next generation.
Mrs. Gayle-Thompson admits wishing that she knew more about life early into adulthood. As a youth mentor, she is dedicating her life to teaching her children, grandchildren, and all the adolescents she can teach about navigating adult life wisely.
